To reconcile a credit card account, the first thing you must do is to use the mouse to open the Banking menu and then click the Reconcile command.

Next, in the Account to Reconcile list, select the credit card account. Compare the opening balance from the statement in the Reconcile window. After that, find the ending balance on the statement and enter the Ending Balance field. Then, correct the transaction and enter the transaction in the QuickBooks list when the transaction is missing.

Finally, just click the Reconcile Now button
